 Post subject: Voice Recognition with Bluetooth Audio (iPod)

I am unable to use voice recognition to change song, artist, playlist, etc. when using my iPod touch through Bluetooth. Voice recognition works with the iPod when I have it plugged into the USB port, but when I connect to it through Bluetooth and try to use voice recognition commands to change music, the message I receive says "there is no audio source connected to the USB". Does anyone have a fix for this? I want to be able to navigate my iPod touch hands-free without having to use the USB connector. Thx.

I have this same issue with my iPhone 6. It just keeps telling me there's nothing connected to the USB even after I manually start playing music from my phone. Manual controls work fine and show the music on my phone but no voice commands work.
