Toyota Entune Forum

Dropped and broke my Samsung Galaxy S4 this morning..... and given the fact that it doesn't play real well with Entune (is there a phone that does?!) I was thinking an upgrade to an iPhone 6.

Anybody have any experience with an iPhone 6 and Entune 3.2 ???

The obly issue I have noticed is not getting my contacts "avatars" or pictures to show on the head unit. Everything else seems to work.

I don't get the contact pictures or e-mail. Messages come through OK.

I have a 2015 4Runner and I have issues with iPhone 5s and now the SE. Phone connects fine, can stream music via bluetooth. What I have issues with is the unit not always transferring my contacts over to the contacts list. When I first pair the phone and the head unit it seems to work and will work for a few days, then entunes fails to transfer contacts again and have to delete off phone and the head unit and then re-pare again. Note: The phone must be on and unlocked before you start the vehicle, otherwise the contacts will not transfer. The dealer ship replaced the head unit once already with no change. I do have an open case with Toyota on this problem. I received a call from them the other day and they said entunes was coming out with an update in August or September 2016. Hopefully that fixes the problem. So frustrating when this happens and no one seems to know how to fix it.

Anyone else seeing this issue, it also happens with an Android phone, so its not the phones but entunes.

All my bluetooth functions work with my iPhone 6, but if I stream music through bluetooth, the "list" and "browse" functions are greyed out...anyone else have this problem or a solution?

Anyone play that game? I briefly played it on my friends iPhone and from what I saw, it was fantastic. Love the motion sensing controls, and wish it would come out for Windows Mobile.
