I have a 2018 Camry with Entunue 3.0. "Communications unavailable" message occurs frequently while using Scout. Is this more likely to be an issue with Entune GPS or with my Sprint service? I have unlimited service on Sprint but there are areas where the phone goes to roaming. Generally, I've been able to reconnect right away, but even a short dropout is enough to miss a direction. Any suggestions?

I would suspect the problem is between your phone and the car.

You might make sure in your phone settings that:
1. The phone does not go to sleep after x minutes (maybe this is when it loses communication?)
2. Location Services are configured Always Allow for the app

I don't use Scout but I have seen the problem you describe with similar apps. Activity in this forum is light but maybe someone with direct experience with Scout can offer more. It might also help to say which phone you're using.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'll look into these possibilities and do a follow-up.

It seems that my Bluetooth connection was corrupted. By clearing the Bluetooth cache and data on my Galaxy S9 phone, and reconnecting to Entune 3.0 in the car, the Scout problems went away. Also, other Bluetooth issues were cleared up and I haven't experienced any annoying problems with Entune 3.0 Scout or the apps since (it's been running well for about 2 months.)
